Menghabiskan kuliahnya di University of Western Ontario, Ray Nayoan pernah bekerja di ReelheART International Film Festival Toronto 2006. Dia juga berpartisipasi di Urbanimation Film Festival 2008. Filmnya yang ditayangkan di INAFFF 08 adalah The Peeper dari anthology film Takut.
