Background:
Brian Yuzna adalah seorang director, penulis dan produser film – film. Yuzna besar di Nicaragua, Puerto Rico dan Panama sebelum ia pindah ke Amerika Serikat di tahun 1960an. Kebanyakan dari film yang dibuat Yuzna adalah film bergenre horror, walaupun ia juga membuat film science fiction. Seperti temannya yang juga sesama pembuat film Stuart Gordon, Yuzna adalah seorang penggemar besar H.P. Lovecraft dan telah mengadaptasi beberapa cerita –cerita milik Lovecraft menjadi film.
Bersama Julio Fernández, Yuzna mendirikan Fantastic Factory, sebuah label di bawah perusahaan film dari Barcelona Filmax. Tujuan Yuzna di Fantastic Factory adalah membuat “film bergenre (horror, sci-fi, fantasy) yang berbiaya tidak terlalu mahal untuk pasar international (diambil dengan bahasa inggris) menggunakan keahlian genre dari seluruh dunia dan untuk memperluas keahlian lokal.”

Brian Yuzna is a director, writer and producer of films. Yuzna grew up in Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and Panama before moving to the United States in the 1960s. Most of Yuzna's film work is in the horror genre, though he has also ventured into science fiction. Like his friend and fellow filmmaker Stuart Gordon, Yuzna is a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft and has adapted several Lovecraft stories for the screen.
With Julio Fernández, Yuzna started Fantastic Factory, a label under Barcelona film company Filmax. Yuzna's goal for Fantastic Factory is produce "modestly budgeted genre (horror, sci-fi, fantasy) films for the international market (shot in English language) using genre talent from all around the world and to develop local talent."
